2. The new antivirus kernel that Kaspersky Anti-Virus uses detects malicious programs more effectively.

3. The RAM volume used by anti-virus kernel is considerably decreased.

4. A new heuristic analyzer has been implemented, providing more accurate detection and blocking of previously unknown malicious programs. If a program's signature has not been found in anti-virus databases, the heuristic analyzer simulates the launch of the program in an isolated virtual environment.
